Background: Saudi Post is the official postal service of Saudi Arabia. Since its inception and with the advent of technology, Saudi Post have expanded their service offering for customers. While the additional services, particularly the e-services, have developed, the marketing systems, capabilities and outputs to make existing and future customers aware and gain new users have lagged behind. Between 2013-2015, Saudi Post partnered with Andarakis Advisory Services in the scope of interim management to develop the overall corporate and product/brand strategies and execute against these strategies.
Deliverables: Throughout our two years of engagement with Saudi Post, the overall marketing strategy, brand strategies for key products and implementation of the marketing programs to bring the strategy to life were delivered as part of the interim management program. Business plans with full strategy, source-of-growth, implementation programs and implementation with the Saudi Post team were delivered for Saudi Post corporate, Ersal (remittance business), Wasl Alami (online overseas shopping & shipping), Wasl (poster & e-commerce), direct marketing services and National Address (address registration). The interim management programs took on the role of an interim marketing director to strategize, execute the programs and train and develop the Saudi Post teams.
