Background: King Abdullah Economic City is one of the largest real estate development projects on the global stage, with development spanning over 168 million square meters across a number of real estate asset classes, including the King Abdullah Port, Industrial Valley, Residential, Business Parks, Mass Transportation Hub, Leisure & Entertainment, Hotels & Hospitality, Education, Healthcare, Financial Hub, and Retail Shopping Malls, which focus on the creation of employment and the overall improvement of the standard of living for the citizens of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Deliverables: Our work with KAEC entailed a ‘2 Year Interim Management’ assignment, focusing on the major elements of the operating model, including overall city development and phasing, marketing and sales strategy, the launch of the Bay la Sun Hotel & Marina, GEMS World Academy, the residential land plot sales, as well as the recruitment and development of the Sales & Marketing teams.
